Walk Ten, the annual 10k walk in aid of our local Marie Curie nurses, took place on the evening of Saturday 7th September.

McAleer Mullan Jackson staff, family and friends joined hundreds of other walkers, and a few canine companions, to help raise funds for this very worthwhile cause.

It was a great night. The timing was perfect, as the rain held off for a couple of hours, just long enough to allow everyone to get around the route without too much discomfort. Drinks were provided for the thirsty walkers and entertainment was laid on after the event.

As a result of our efforts, with thanks to all of our generous sponsors, we were able to raise a total of £1,500 to assist the vital work of the Marie Curie nurses.
